QUESTIONS:

  • What are your identity(ies)?
    • eg. A scholar, a mother, a brother, a friend, a human, an activist, a lesbian, a Muslim etc.
    • Do any of these selves conflict with each other? How do you reconcile?
  • How do you show kindness?
    • Do you extend that kindness to yourself?
  • What makes you feel guilty/conflicted/overwhelmed/afraid?
    • Spend some time thinking about why these things have this effect on you? Is it fair? Are you being kind to yourself? Consider unpacking your thoughts with someone you trust, over your favourite beverage. (Sloth recommends Rooibos tea.)
