Learning process & content: Theory U

The design of the learning process and content of this care-full scholarship MOOC has been inspired by Theory U of the Presencing Institute. As concisely summarised by José Romero Kieth (see here), the purpose of Theory U is to:

• learn new ways of thinking in order to find new solutions to global problems
• link theory with practice, in a creative way
• identify the 'blind spots' of the systems at play
• generate practical solutions to complex problems
• generate trust among key stakeholders

aligning perfectly with our own goals for this MOOC and its associated CoP.
