It’s hard to believe we have already arrived at the final Unit of our course… but not at the end of our journey together! Our wish is that the Community of Practice (CoP) born with this MOOC can thrive well after the end of this course.

We hope that at this point you feel more confident with knowledge, tools, and awareness regarding your path as a care-full scholar and practitioner.

We also hope you have had the chance to engage with other peers, learn from each other, and perhaps form long-lasting connections. If not, that’s OK, the CoP will still be alive, and in this Unit we will think together on how to make sure it thrives and grows independently from the MOOC. We will harvest key learnings from the course, but also take a step forward, and think about the future, both regarding yourself and the MOOC’s CoP.

In this Unit, our goals are as follows:

  • Familiarise with different harvesting tools, and use one or more to reflect upon your MOOC’s learning journey;
  • Familiarise with visioning tools, and use one or more to reflect upon your future career goals and trajectories;
  • Get inspired by the experiences of other care-full scholars and their own career pathways;
  • Share ideas on the possible follow-up actions needed to keep the MOOC’s CoP alive and running;
  • Complete your Learning Journey Canvas (Unit 7 worksheets available via the files tab at the top) and, if you want, share your key learnings with the Community.

Conversation starter:

What other (complementary or different) goals do you personally have as we approach the end of the course, and enter into a new phase of the MOOC’s Community of Practice?

Please add your response in the Discussion Board in the comments tab at the top of this lesson page.
