Reflection & Learning Journey
We are now at the end of Unit 5.
As recapped upon in the above video, in this Unit, we have begun by using more-than-human archetypes to reflect playfully on our own approaches to design and the ordering of our practices.
Then, with Dr Angela Moriggi, we have explored examples of care-full design tools, such as:
- Appreciative Inquiry
- Theory U
- Medicine Wheel
all of which informed the original design of this care-full MOOC
We have considered care-full competences, abilities and ways of working, making specific reference along the way to exempler frameworks such as:
- the Rounder Sense of Purpose pallet designed for sustainability educators,
- Valentina Tassone et al’s work on RRI…
- and the embodied researcher model, which was first introduced in Unit 1, as a means of reflecting further on our own competences.
And we have used the examples of:
- Troika Consulting and
- Case Clinic,
as illustrations of how to design a care-full engagement session.
All that remains in preparation for moving on to Unit 6, is for you dedicate some time to completing your learning journal in connection with the content of this Unit. On the next page you will find additional suggestions and prompts to help you complete this.
