In engaging with this and the next proposed exercise, please keep in mind the following:
- It is OK if you don’t ‘get’ the exercises right away!
- Give yourself the chance to try, but don't overthink it
- Feelings of dissonance or resistance are legitimate but...
- Trust your body intelligence and do whatever feels right for you
Mindful Meditation
This meditation will take ten minutes. Please try to ensure you are somewhere comfortable, where you are unlikely to be disturbed or distracted and it is safe to close your eyes. If possible, find somewhere outside or near a window.
